About éist

éist (Irish for “listen”) is an independent, local-first podcast player for Apple platforms — iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and CarPlay.

It’s built around a simple idea: your listening is yours. Subscriptions, playback position, bookmarks and listening stats are stored on your device. There’s no account to create and no central server collecting your activity.

Optional private sync

If you use more than one device, éist can keep them in step using your own personal cloud storage (such as a Google Drive app-data folder that only éist can see). You stay in control of the data, and you can turn sync off at any time.
